How Tall Are You, Compared To Classic Hollywood Actors?

I just learned that both Judy Garland and Elizabeth Taylor were shorter than I am. I'm 5'4". Judy Garland was 4'11", and Elizabeth Taylor was 5'2".

I'm particularly short for a man, and women are on average, smaller than men. I happen to love being a short man. Does this make me a "Pocket Gay"? I don't know. But I relish the thought.

Okay. I've known Judy was 4'11" for quite some time. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's interesting to know that while I've always looked up to both of these extraordinary women, if I stood next to them, they might look up to me. ❤

I'm a 5'4' (cis white) male too, OP.

Veronica Lake has always inspired me because her height. She still managed to be super sexy.

If you have a hot ass, being short is no issue.

A lot of men really don't like short men for their partners.

I love them both OP and I'm sure you're a pocket Adonis. I'm a 5'7" woman so I'm probably taller than a lot if them (men included....cough... Tom Cruise). I'm guessing that the ones who were child actors mostly tend to be on the shorter side as I think that's a preference so they can play younger parts. I'm actually shocked when actors are actually tall, like Vincent Vaughan who's around 6' 5-6" I believe.

I remember Kathy Griffin making a comment about all TV people being tiny because small people look better on camera.

I'm 6'2" and I LOVE short men (like 5'5" and under). They just seem better proportioned than tall men and they always seem to have a really nice ass.

This is so true. Shorter actors are easier to shoot and light properly because they fit in the frame better. Taller actresses often look awkward onscreen, like Charlie Theron and Sigourney Weaver. Also, since most actors are on the shorter side, shorter actors are easier to cast since you know they will look better with their co-stars. You don't want to cast an Amazon like Charlize with Tom Cruise, for instance.

Does it matter all that much, hunny? In my experience, they are only two heights, TALLER or SHORTER than Fred Astaire. I had to wear ballet flats when I danced with him.

I like them short, stocky, and furry

Tall, skinny, and hairless (or worse, shaved), are turn-offs
