How is Bradley Cooper explaining his attraction to telling the story of a closeted gay man in Maestro?

Seems like it could lead to some awkward questions. First A Star is Born, then Maestro and now he supposedly wants to remake Cabaret.

He could be a datalounger.

This wasn't lost on me when I saw the previews and he said it was a passion project for him for so many years and always loved Bernstein.

Uh - no straight man says this.

Too bad he's so unattractive and poor so that he can't seem to find a woman to date him. /s

If his next project is "Valley of the Dolls: A New Millennium," will he play Tony Polar or Helen Lawson?

Next up: Bradley Cooper IS Rock Hudson!

In the same way Liberace was, R5.

He had it all set up with that Gigi Hadad (or whatever her name is). The tabloids were reporting his new romance THEN she turned out to be an anti-Semite. So she was gone quickly since he already had the nose controversy to deal with.

R9 I think he is an anti-semite too because his fake nose was way bigger than what you ever saw on old Bernstein photographs. That's why he chose the Hadid muslim bitch as a beard. I hope he gets banned from Hollywood for having a lavender child. What a nasty piece of trash that Cooper is with his behavior.

Bradley and Leo papped on a hotel balcony, looking like they'd been fucking all night and just rolled out of bed.

I am telling you

Bradley is making these films about HIS PARENTS

He is reliving his trauma over and over again. He’s made the same movie twice in a row - the suffering wife of an egomaniac with a dark secret (alcoholism, homosexuality.) This isn’t a coincidence. He worships his mother and is trying reconcile his feelings with his father, whom he identifies with but is also scared of turning into.

R10 The Bernstein kids had no problem with the nose, so mind your business.

by Anonymousreply 13December 12, 2023 1:24 AM

R13 I could imagine that on the set he was like "haha Jews have long noses". So bigoted.

I should have known I'd get a remark like that, but I won't pay any attention to that. I know how bitchy fags can be!
