It's fairly unusual because beards usually improve one's looks. Chuck Todd looks slightly less gremlinish with a beard, for example. But Justin's beard is a disaster. Who else was turned fug by a beard?

A beard is not always an improvement. Justin's beard is too scruffy and uneven, and takes away from his strong jawline and blue eyes.
But with a beard King Felipe VI of Spain went from handsome to hot as fuck.

Another thumbs up for Justin. I hate facial hair - mustaches and beards, but I do think that Justin looks just fine. He's likely the only Canadian prime-minister since the 19th century to wear one. I guess the same could be said of U.S. presidents - when was the last bearded one ? Garfield maybe ?

It used to be that people who tried growing a beard and found that it didn't work for them stopped. Now we have everyone growing beards and many are just plain ugly. Remember when you would hear adults talk about weak beards and suggested putting milk on it and have a cat lick it off.

I have a salt and pepper beard, but I don't dye my hair, my hair is also salt and pepper. He looks silly. I love beards, but he's definitely one who should shave it. (Justin)

My facial hair has turned mostly gray and white so I just shave it. I used to have a nice dark 5 o’clock shadow that I miss.

The last one with a beard was Benjamin Harrison (1889-1893). The last one with any facial hair (mustache) was William Howard Taft (1909-1913).
