On a professional level. And that's all I can really say. I will say that I rarely root against people, but I truly hope these two crash and burn hard. Not that they're that up there, anyway. Their show is fairly average (Williamson is a legend in his own mind and that's all) and isn't really setting the world on fire, but they don't deserve even that meager crumb.

I gave to the Kickstarter campaigns for the first 2 seasons of Eastsiders. After season 1, I got an e-mail from Van and Kit and the promised dvd. Second season haven't gotten a thing and I gave those m-fers $200; can't get a straight answer either on when Kiss Me Kill Me - another Van venture I shelled out money to support - will be released. Don't trust these folks.

Why? Most Kickstarters get their rewards out with no problem. I've donated to 8 different ones, and there's only been problems with one, the Bridegroom documentary, although my reward was received.

I recently watched Eastsiders on Netflix, like it a lot and even more for its from youtube to Netflix saga that KW wrote about in IndieWire. Then I checked his IG and was surprised just b/c I didn't expect that sort of IG, not b/c I don't like when someone's IG shows how much they love themselves, their partners and enjoy life. Besides Silver Lake and Echo Park, East Hollywood would be another. When I have heard "Eastside" it corresponds to this Los Angeles Times neighborhood map and most people associate the term with East Los Angeles.
