Zayn's new collab is interesting because I think he has a great voice (even though I'm not into R&B) and I really like the Shaed song as well (the female singer's voice is lovely). But both voices together with all the effects it gets kind of too messy for me. It's still a good song, but I think actually prefer the "cleaner" Shaed version - maybe I just have to get used to it. It's a solid bit of music though, I'm curious how his fans will like it.
Meanwhile - after Liam kept making remarks during his promo interviews, that could be interpreted as somewhat snide towards Harry (basically saying that he, Louis and Niall absolutely love 1D, but not “other people", who "just want their space" lol) - Louis is out there throwing some shade in his latest Guardian profile:

lol... oh Louis... I mean, I wonder just how much of this is intentional, but this whole quote is such a goldmine. First of all saying Gucci of all possible luxury brands, when Harry has been the face of Gucci for two tailoring and one perfume campaign and co-hosted the Met Gala through him basically being a Gucci brand ambassador, and then connecting it to being a pompous ass out of touch with the real world, because "some celebrities" are surrounded by sycophants... yeah. Sure, maybe it's just an unfortunate coincidence, but I mean, someone with 9 years of media training should realise how that sounds, right? On the other hand considering the fact that Louis said these exact words while wearing Prada and is usually running around in his luxury $ 1,000 tracksuits, Burberry, Givenchy and other brands, it makes me question his awareness again. I also love the fact that he's basically sitting there as the multi millionaire he is, talking about getting "insight" into "real life" through his working class (?) friends. Thanks to the Guardian for giving us this entertaining gem!
If Liam's & Louis's comments were intentional it makes one wonder... It seems the combination of being older and three years into the hiatus, which prompted some other stories to surface (like them getting drunk before going on stage and cancelling their Belfast gig due to Liam's mental breakdown) and the fact that they have a harder time selling their solo music these days makes them a lot more willing to dish some tea about the 1D time and dynamics. I never thought it would happen, because I never expected a real fall from grace, but maybe I underestimated good old petty jealousy and it makes me wonder if in a few years I might get my tell-all book after all.
