He played a sex addict in a TV movie which also starred his wife. I thought it commendable for him to take that role, and to play it as well as he did. One could say that he played it...too well. No other gossip but also, no boner for me...his face makes me wretch for some reason, as do his wife’s duck lips. She gives Daffy Duck a hard on. I remember finding him extremely hot in is debut feature, "Movie Movie," where he played a boxer. I seem to remember that he was one of those young actors who was thrust into a leading man role on his very first picture, and that they were trying to "make him happen," but it didn't quite work out.

R14 He was hot in LA Law and his character was really nice and hot as well. He left LA Law too soon. Season 6 wasn’t good for many reasons but maybe he should have stayed.

R42 He was excellent in LA Law when Kuzak was defending a black man named Earl Williams in a murder trial. Veronica Cartwright was equally excellent as a DA. It was season 4 and the story line lasted for several episodes.

I lived in West LA/Beverly Hills, right off Mulholland, in Franklin Canyon in the late 1990s.  Neighbors to the right were Lisa Rinna & Harry Hamlin.

Their property was on a hill with enough acreage around the house to buffer it, but our shared street was a cul-de-sac.  As I was pulling into my driveway, Harry was outside one December afternoon decorating their entrance gate with tacky Christmas decorations; metallic garland, multi-colored flashing lights, etc. Nice guy, down-to-earth, albeit hyper/animated/high energy was the vibe I got.  This was some years after he was People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" but he still looked great.  Taller than I expected, probably 6'.  Lean and angular, craggy complexion, incredible bone structure in his face.  Handsome without trying; jeans and a t-shirt.  I'd describe him as no pretense, approachable, confident with indelible charisma...definitely the 'it' factor.  Introduced himself, shook my hand and asked what I thought of his handiwork.  Not knowing what to say, because it was both tacky as hell and frenetically done, I replied that it showed he definitely had the holiday spirit, which seemed to please him.  I noticed the decorations had all been taken done later that night, so I assume Lisa, who previously had a decor show on HGTV(?), didn't approve.

That was my only interaction with Harry and I never met Lisa or their children.
