The flight attendant's reaction was too harsh, he could have been quieter and less hostile. Singing is far from the worst thing a passenger can do to be disruptive on a flight. I would have been like " Congratulations, honey, this is not a space for evangelizing, it is a space quiet contemplation."

Obey your flight attendants or be removed from the plane. They run the show now. Don't matter who you are or what you are doing. Why is this so hard for people to understand? You may not like it. Of course, Bobbie didn't like it. But if you want to fly on a plane. You do as you are told. Or you can drive.

Here’s one travel blogger’s take. I have commented on his site before, even writing him directly. He is a conservative, whiny ass, white bitch who comes across as entitled, prejudiced and racist. I’m not surprised by his headline here and include it only because I think it is DL-esque.

On one of my last international flights, I sat next to an American evangelical from Houston who was on his way to (I think?) Turkey for missionary work. On the other side of him was a guy from Iran. Both men were in their 20s.
As soon as we sat down, the evangelical (at best a thinly vieled MAGA) began complimenting the Iranian on his country's theocracy and also trying to get him to talk about Islam, in a clear attempt to proselytize to him. It was awful. I felt utterly embarrassed to be sitting next to him, as a fellow American. It was a seven-hour flight, and I couldn't imagine this going on the entire trip.
Finally, the evangelical pulled out his Bible and read quietly the rest of the flight.
I found that behavior far more odious (and insidious) than Ms. Storm's.

The world is not your audience. The nation is not made up of 332 million separate reality shows. People have every right to travel, work, play, and shop without acknowledging your brilliance and/or ridiculousness.

Personally, as an Academy Award winning actress, I can truly relate to the desire to let everyone around me enjoy my accolades and renown. It truly brightens their lives, I feel. Everyday I try to share my talents with those around me who may not be fortunate enough to encounter an artist like myself on a regular basis.
