Obsessing online about Dark Triad and Cluster B is a personality disorder onto its own.

Narcissism falls under the category of Cluster B and it doesn't take a psychiatrist to figure out Meghan is narcissist, Markle lickspittle.

R8, if she's a narcissist then so is every single person in showbiz

Trump is poster child for Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Also clearly a sociopath, or possibly psychopath. Many politicians are.
Britney is likely Bipolar and/or Borderline.
Roseanne Barr Histrionic personality disorder.
Meghan Markle definitely ticks the NPD box although she expresses it more benignly than, say, Trump.
Jada Pinkett is another prime Narcissist.

Cluster B includes narcissists, histrionics, antisocials, borderlines, so pretty much a lot of celebrities and politicians!
[quote]Amber Heard
That professional during the Depp trial said she diagnosed Heard with histrionic personality disorder (makes sense) and borderline personality disorder.

Depp is just as fucked up as Heard

R12 pretty much nails it. It would be much easier to list which celebrities are NOT diagnosed with a Cluster B disorder.

Marilyn Monroe definitely had to have histrionic personality disorder.
| by Anonymous | reply 17 | October 21, 2023 5:20 AM |
Julia Roberts is either Cluster B or just a stuck up bitch
| by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 21, 2023 5:25 AM |
Marilyn was in chronic emotional pain and had serious emotional management issues. That says Borderline to me.
| by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 22, 2023 8:01 AM |
But really Marilyn was probably both and more. They’re not called Cluster B for nothing.
| by Anonymous | reply 20 | October 22, 2023 8:06 AM |
Simon le Bon (sad situation)
My college professor for psychology taught the entire class that Marilyn Monroe was borderline and is considered the classic example of it
Kevin Spacey is also a psychopath. He is scary even when he talks

r21, Please do tell about Simon Le Bon. He liked to bask in attention (and cheat on his wife) for sure, but I always got the impression that he was from a healthy intact family...

Jesus Christ, OP, 99% of actors have Histrionic Personality Disorders! Freaking dumbass.
“Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) is defined by the American Psychiatric Association as a personality disorder characterized by a pattern of excessive attention-seeking behaviors, usually beginning in early adulthood, including inappropriate seduction and an excessive desire for approval. People diagnosed with the disorder are said to be lively, dramatic, vivacious, enthusiastic, extroverted and flirtatious.”

Hi, I’m the OP! Let’s make a list of CEOs who are narcissistic sociopaths!

Pete Davidson has said that he's been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder.

I've always thought Judy Garland was a borderline.
| by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 22, 2023 11:26 AM |
Half of Hollywood is Borderline! Jeez.

Cluster B? What happened to borderline and spectrum as the go-to armchair diagnoses? I can’t keep up. I guess that’s another disorder?
| by Anonymous | reply 29 | October 22, 2023 11:38 AM |
Covert narcissists - Mother Teresa, Nancy Reagan. They spend their whole lives devoted to pleasing someone or some other cause and being the perfect example of it.
A really good example of borderline personality disorder is Princess Diana. I met her and she was exceptional at connecting with me that felt real and sympathetic. She did a lot of real and genuine charity work like with mines and HIV/AIDs. But also she had an eating disorder, self-harmed, had suicidal thoughts, and allegedly threw herself down the stairs while pregnant to try to get people to take her distress seriously.

[qoute]Cluster B? What happened to borderline and spectrum as the go-to armchair diagnoses? I can’t keep up. I guess that’s another disorder?
Keep up. Cluster B refers to 4 personality disorders.
Antisocial personality disorder: pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others, lack of empathy and remorse, callousness, bloated self-image, manipulative and impulsive behavior.
Borderline personality disorder: pervasive pattern of abrupt emotional outbursts, fear of abandonment, unhealthy attachment, altered empathy, instability in relationships, self-image, identity, behavior and affect, often leading to self-harm and impulsivity.
Histrionic personality disorder: pervasive pattern of attention-seeking behavior, including excessive emotions, an impressionistic style of speech, inappropriate seduction, exhibitionism, and egocentrism.
Narcissistic personality disorder: pervasive pattern of superior grandiosity, haughtiness, need for admiration, deceiving others, and a lack of empathy. In a more severe expression, criminal behavior is present, but such individuals are remorseful.

Trump is a sociopath, yes, but not a psychopath. You have to reason in terms of hot and cold. Trump is irascible and has meltdowns = it's hot, it's boiling. Psychopath are cold: they have no emotions, they are detached, disengaged, they can even easily defeat polygraphs = cold. Other difference: you grow into a sociopath, whereas you were born a psychopath.

The DSM-5 makes no distinction between sociopathy and psychopathy.
