The story is a few years old, and the 77 year-old Horner has since divorced the now-26 year-old woman.
Horner claims he was forced out of Montana State University and the affiliated Museum of the Rockies because the curator didn't approve of his love life. He dated, and later married, a former undergraduate student at MSU. Americans may know Horner as the technical advisor to the Jurassic Park films and novels, and as the inspiration for the character of Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill).
He still considers her adorable.
