He looks just like a whiter La Toya there.

Are we sure that's Michael and not Latoya?

"It's so sad, the world is so bad..."
Genius lyrics! He's like Shakespeare, only way better!

R8 The wig seems to be channeling Julia Louis-Dreyfus!

R9 the world is so bad, yet he brought 3 kids into it.

They should have played this at the Queen's funeral.

His female muses were Diana Ross, Brooke Shields, Elizabeth Taylor and Lisa Marie Presley. He didn't fuck a single one of them but powerful women in the industry were needed to defend him when his pedo behavior came to light.

Welcome to Hollywood That's what they told you. A child star in Hollywood. That's what they sold you.
Grace and beauty, charm and talent You would do what you were told. But they robbed you of your childhood Took your youth, and sold it for gold.
Elizabeth I love you You're every star that shines in the world to me. Elizabeth can't you see that it's true? Elizabeth I love you, you're more than just a star to me.
Lovely Elizabeth, you have surpassed them all. My friend Elizabeth, learned to outlast them all. Many started, back when you did. Lost their way and now they're gone.
But look at you, a true survivor, full of life and carrying on. Elizabeth I love you, You're every star that shines in the world to me.
Elizabeth can't you see that it's true? Elizabeth I love you, you're more than just a star.
This is your life, You seem to have it all. You reached your peak, They wanted you to fall.
It's very sad that this world can be so bad But through all the heartaches when they let you down You know, you were victor and you wore the crown It's like walking through fire determined to win
You were beating those battles again and again! Elizabeth I love you, You're every star that shines in the world to me. Elizabeth can't you see that it's true?
Remember the time, when I was alone? You stood by my side and said let's be strong. You did all these things that only a true friend can do.
Elizabeth I love you The world knows your worth now Of all the things on earth now I pray one day I'll be just....
Like youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. -Love you Mike!

I prefer his vocals on Destiny, Off the Wall and Thriller. Dangerous had some good vocals too. Here he sounds like he completely lost his voice. Trying so hard to be willowy. I hate how every R&B singer in the 90s and 2000s were mimicking his voice.

Back when the boy had some soul.

He LOOKS a bit like Brooke Shields mixed with Joan Collins. But by a mentally ill "gender illusionist" out of the 60s - old style - with hideous plastic surgery.

Michael may have been huge but I find he was too repetitive. I feel without Quincy Jones and Teddy Riley, he would have had ruled the 80s and early 90s. Prince and Bob Dylan were constantly evolving musically and made music they wanted. Mike was just doing what he felt would keep him in the public eye not making artistic statements.

He looks insane. God he was such a freak.

It's crazy how different people were in the 90s. People really didn't ask questions and they minded their own business. Because today, Michael Jackson would be diagnosed by dozens on the social media sphere. His body dysmorphia, narcissism and pedophilic tendencies would have been immediately put on blast. He likely would have been stopped before he started. It seems only the Black population was questioning his antics at the time like skin bleaching, chopping off his nose and having slumber parties with little boys. Black people are still annoyed that MJ left his fortune to three white kids despite claiming he was this "proud Black man." White Americans are still the biggest defenders I've seen. MJ is still big in Europe and Asia. I see him as a self-hating Black man who put on the guise of social consciousness to distract from his identity issues. He did have vitiligo and I understand why he lightened his skin but all the plastic surgery and preference for white or Latino children and white people in his sphere says a lot.

R22 He didn't like black people. He called them splaboos.
| by Anonymous | reply 23 | January 10, 2023 8:47 PM |
R23 Yep. He only used them. He would work with Quincy Jones, Teddy Riley, Janet, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Spike Lee and the sort. But that was where it ended. After Thriller, he cut himself off from his family and from his Motown mentors like Diana and Stevie. He began only associating with white Hollywood (who of course would defend a self-hating Black man who wanted to be white) and began his "friendships" with young white, mixed or Latino boys.

Truly craptastic.
And Jackson's shoe game was always a catastrophe.
| by Anonymous | reply 27 | January 10, 2023 10:49 PM |
He was a complete fucking mess by this stage.

How many times did we have to hear how Elizabeth and Michael were robbed of their childhoods?
| by Anonymous | reply 30 | March 31, 2023 11:10 PM |
Howard Stern made fun of this entire episode. Howard singing the lyrics from memory about Elizabeth was hilarious.
