Great show. You can watch reruns on Amazon Prime. They used to shit on the Federal government in many episodes. Carter was presiding, so it's understandable. They did it in a non-partisan way. Just a lot of vignettes about average people doing silly stuff. One of the more funnier pieces was when they sent the smokin' hot Sarah Purcell to a Chippendale's club in the late '70s. You should have seen some of the guys working there...LOL. There was a bartender who looked like a Meathead from All In The Family, shirtless with the bow tie serving drinks to all the horny women.. The standards have greatly improved over the years.

R2 Hell NO! Each of the hosts would do a video piece on some unusual person that they actually interviewed or a unique annual event they went to and experienced.
Some of the subjects may seem mundane by todays standards, but they were new for that time period:
Female bodybuilding, a female trucker, Chippendale's etc.

Not even close. It was the precursor to reality television. It was on NBC. The ABC version was "That's Incredible!," with Cathy Lee Crosby, John Davidson, and Fran Tarkenton. "Real People" was first. Both shows ran for five seasons.

Byron Allen went on to found Entertainment Studios, which started out producing syndicated TV shows and now owns The Weather Channel and a stake in Fox Sports Networks, along with three local TV stations and the website TheGrio.com. Today he's worth around $400 million.

What can I say, I really loved both of these shows as a young teenager and looked forward to watching them with my grandmother.

I went to high school with Peter Billingsley. He's nice and grew up to be kind of a cutie.
I LOVED Sarah Purcell and she played a crazy singing villain (along with Judge Reinhold!) in an episode of Wonder Woman.
