I've never heard of this guy and I watch entirely to much gay porn. I know about a lot of the bts guys too.

The host worked for Treasure Island and Dark Alley as a director for 13 years.

I listened to the Hans Berlin interview last night, and it was fairly interesting

by Anonymousreply 4November 11, 2020 2:59 PM

Hans talked about his move to Los Angeles from Berlin, aspirations to a legitimate actor, how he went into porn, the porn musical for the stage he created, his HIV status. The interviewer was fine. I’m going to listen to more of the episodes.

Biaggi Interview is good, too.

What's to demystify? The host has filmed for the two sleaziest studios around, so the interviewees are probably all dealing with substance and sexual abuse issues. I tried watching the episode with Luca D Amore, because I think he's very attractive, but it was boring. Also, because of the language barrier he seemed to give confusing answers to straightforward questions.

r9 Fuckin' insufferable mincing shrew.

He can't demystify the gay porn industry because know one knows him. He lacks credibility. It doesn't even matter if he's telling the truth.

by Anonymousreply 12November 12, 2020 12:32 PM

Demystify? No thanks. I really don’t want to know how the sausage is made.

I think it's important that these seminal figures have their voices heard.

Gay porn is finished. There are too many studios, too many terrible performers, too many tattoos, bad lighting, nothing innovative, no standards. With COVID-19 , production is probably all halted for the time being.

by Anonymousreply 15November 12, 2020 1:45 PM

R15 you are right. There does need to be a porn regulator to ensure that studios improve standards and have correct Covid secure policies in place.

I think the studio gay porn is being transitioned into do-it-yourself (Only Fans and the like) porn. I think it is boring. I cannot get into Only Fans videos....

I saw that musical. Truly awful. Even the nudity didn't make up for it.

I think the issue of making porn pay in the smartphone era is the thing. Hence the explosion of onlyfans.

by Anonymousreply 20November 12, 2020 9:02 PM

I think a lot more behind the scenes porn has helped to demystify things for people.

For some reason I always thought I. Que Grande (which sounds like something Trump would call himself) was black.

by Anonymousreply 23November 13, 2020 4:36 PM

r24 Because I watch a lot of black porn, and he directed many of them. Maybe he directed non-black porn as well, but I rarely watch that.

by Anonymousreply 25November 13, 2020 10:42 PM

What is it that draws you to black porn R25?

by Anonymousreply 26November 14, 2020 9:05 AM

Demystifying Gay Porn? That's hilarious.

by Anonymousreply 27November 14, 2020 9:16 AM

What is it that draws you to any porn? r26
