Oprah had her on to promote the book. They advertised it as a Merideth revealing shocking details about her marriage. She had nothing!!! Her two big moments that she told weeping were how once they got in an argument at Thanksgiving. He later said she ruined the holiday.
The other was how they got in a fight in a restaurant in Italy and he got up from the table and went up to their room in the hotel leaving her to pay the bill.
You could see the wheels spinning in Oprah's mind like "that's it?" We advertised shocking details!!! Which producer booked this nut!!!!

I believe her. If she had made these revelations to a court today- in the metoo environment- they would probably be more understanding of why she wanted this man out of their lives. He sounds passive-aggressive, whiny, controlling and vindictive.

I think she is a fucking bitch.
If she truly loved or loves her children, she would never have put them through unnecessary trauma of custody disputes,
Since that is not sufficiently cruel, she writes a piece if shit that memorializes her lies.
Total narcissist. Only concerned with her own fucking self -/ hallmark of an alcoholic , which she admitted to and is allegedly recovered
She portrayed the wife in that Betty Broderick story who kills her husband and ne wife

I remember on the Oprah show the kids she had with Birney did not appear nor were mentioned. Her kids with other men did though.

His writing is indeed convincing (if she were to make a case, it’s true that it would have been a lot more believable had she recounted ANY good parts of the marriage). That said, a couple of points. I do remember her children being on Oprah and all siding with her. Also, (it may have been linked on here), there is some interview with the two of them that used to be on YouTube - they’re being presented as “the perfect couple” and yet you could cut the tension with a knife. He seemed like a total pompous ass and you could tell she was walking on eggshells with everything she said.
All that said, she is totally humorless and if her account had been more balanced, or self aware, she’d have more sympathy from me.

Just some of them were on. She has 5. I think 2 were on. Not sure if they were from the marriage to Birney.
