Connecticut State Senator Alex Kasser Resigns

This is the continuing drama between a lesbian state senator (who came out rather late), and her JP Morgan banker husband who found out about his wife also way too late.

They're now locked in a bitter and nasty divorce proceedings (why wouldn't they be?) which apparently is taking a toll on Sen. Kasser, so she's packing it in...

It's clear why she became a lesbian.

Kasser, who told CNBC she no longer has contact with her three children with Bergstein, also wrote, “In addition, I can no longer live or work in Greenwich as it is loaded with memories of the 20 years I spent raising my children here.”

“It is too painful to be in Greenwich now that I’ve been erased from their lives, just as their father promised would happen if I ever left him,” Kasser wrote.

I can't find the ages but the twenty years mentioned indicates they are old enough to make up their own minds about mom.

Yes, that does sound rather odd and surprisingly harsh. Those boys aren't children and seem more than capable of making up their own minds. OTOH if it was their own decision, well as Madame Bovary and Anna Karenina found out there is often a high price to pay for love.

Is there no end to dyke drama? I think most lesbians marry men to have the kids, and then divorce once the mission is accomplished, or at least it seems that way.
