This YouTube channel has a bunch of videos of parents, spouses, and family members sharing how their sons, daughters, and siblings died from fentanyl. From what I can tell, the parents are too permissive and the kids are stupid and impressionable. They lack a strong sense of character and identity, thus the kids are easily swayed by bad friends who get them to experiment with drugs which kills them. Then you have people who suffered injuries and got addicted to opioids, tried to hide it before getting cut off, and then they search for illegal drugs which kills them. Another running theme is struggling with depression and anxiety and using drugs to make them feel at ease. So, basically weak ass losers who nature selected out.

I used to be jealous of kids who got to be in the Cub Scouts. I always wanted to but my parents couldn’t be bothered with dropping me off or picking me up from anywhere. This kid was also at the top of his class in high school. What could have made his life take such a drastic turn?

It is a shame about Austin Majors. A few years ago on H&I channel they ran 4 eps of NYPD BLUE overnight 5 nights a week. I never sleep so it was a lifesaver - I hadn’t watched it in years - it was better than I remembered. Austin as Theo Jr was an odd looking kid who had odd line delivery - he wasn’t “precocious” like so many child actors. he was able to deliver lines in a way that Dennis Franz’s Sipowitz could listen and respond in really spontaneous ways. You can see when the kid made him laugh or moved him. They made a really odd sweet father and son team. I remember a seen where he was trying to show him how to brush his teeth.
