Sarah Michelle Gellar has ended up on listS of celebrity Republicans for years and she's not one. I don't know where the rumor started or how she got on those lists, but the rumors persist.
I think people got her confused with the other Buffy, Kristy Swanson, who is a MAGA republican.
But she's been open about being a Democrat that voted for Obama.

Britney was definitely a registered Republican in Louisiana, but I don't think she is anymore. She posted a pic of herself with Hillary Clinton and the #ImWithHer.
I also doubt she's registered currently, but politically, as she's grown older (and crazier…) most of her comments skew liberal.
Who knows? She could be a registered Democrat. But I don't think she's Republican anymore.
I grew up in Louisiana as well and most high school kids just register in the same party as their family. I know so many registered Republicans who have never voted for a republican in their life. They just never bothered to change their registration. And it's easy to stay that way in Louisiana, because there are open primaries, so you can be a Republican but vote for a Democrat in a primary

R16 LL Cool J isnt card carrying but he has definitely backed republicans in the past and certainly leans more right. 50 cent is outright republican and supported Trump (though he retracted his support, possibly after backlash)
