The fans want the original mocap actors to reprise their roles. The characters they play in the game are teenagers and they're all pushing 40. On top of that, one of them is an Oscar winner now who doesn't want to do a movie with network tv level actors. Of course the ones who can't get work want to reprise their roles. The director is going with a younger cast. 2 actors from the failed superhero franchise are trying to get roles. One of whom was a casting couch hire from the movie the director did before the lame superhero. The other played the main character but was reduced to a cameo in the sequel because he parted ways with a manager who sexually assaulted him. They increased the roles of 2 costars who are more controversial. One who also played the main character has had several public meltdowns since the sequel flopped. The other is a costar his age that is a nepo baby. He got to be the love interest of a upcoming actress with far more potential than either of them. He also has been accused of physically and verbally assaulting 3 of his ex girlfriends. He has people kissing his ass telling him how great he is, while he seethes in anger over any young male actor his age that's seen more success than he has. He especially despises male actors his age that were in oscar nominated movies. The young actor who played the main character is making sure he gets a role in the video game adaptation or he will leak enjoy dirt to get the director fired. He also doesn't want the casting couch actress to be hired. The casting couch actress can also get the director fired.
