My parents were good friends with his parents, Bonita and ‘Coach’ in the 90s — good people. They would frequent a VFW post in Kiln, MS that had illegal gambling. When Brett was in college, he told the secret of that VFW bar/casino to the college newspaper, which set off the FBI? to come over to the VFW post and destroy all their slot machines and gambling stuff. But don’t worry — only a year later or so they got even more slot machines and video poker. That place was gambling way before the MS gulf coast got casinos.

I read about that yesterday, absolutely vile. Favre was given nearly $1M out of the welfare budget for "speaking engagements" which he never actually appeared at. The man already had nearly $100M, what kind of piece of shit is he for agreeing to this scheme to just be handed another $1M?
