This happened at an upscale gym in the Boston area. Any employees with access to surveillance of this incident owe it to the world to release the video of this mental case.

The video at R8, with men trying to fist-bump a blind guy, reminds me of a deaf friend. If she or someone else in our group tells a stranger that she's deaf, they often raise their voices, as if that will restore her hearing.

Years ago my next door neighbor's ex saw my Dad doing his daily walk. The ex (a deeply weird mental case) tried to jump my Dad and beat his ass "for not speaking to me when I nodded "Hello." Dad explained "Hey, man, you know I'm blind, right? If you'd called my name I'd have spoken to you!"
Ex refused to believe Dad, claiming if he's blind, how is he walking like that? As if a blind person loses the ability to A) walk altogether, or B) walk in a fairly straight line without getting lost. In a neighborhood he's lived in since 1953.
That fucker was CRAAAAZEEE.

This is unfortunately a thing, and why *some* (but not all) blind people may wear sunglasses. I lived with a blind friend who I went to the laundromat with regularly, she would sometimes sit and listen to podcasts on earbuds but sometimes a person sitting nearby would get kerfluffled because her eyes were pointing at them, but she had no idea that person was sitting there. Unfortunately sometimes it was some pervy douche who thought she was flirting.
