It's really cool, but I see it like this: it's a non-album track, a year after her last album, it's purely for the fun of it. It's like one of Prince's B-sides from the late 80s/ early 90s. Just a funky extra track with like five lyrics but it hits. Don't think too hard about it 😉👍

I can't think of a Beyonce song in years that was a hit single. I'm not impressed with Taylor Swift either but once in a while she puts out a song that works as a pop tune.

Beyonce's music seems complteley unmemorable now.

Beyonce has thrown away her career in her Third Act. The Second Act was fine and successful, but she stopped singing songs for some reason. There is a big push right now in her movie and the press to paint Beyonce as "fully in control" of her art, but I doubt it. Someone is sabotaging it through bad creative decisions. Or, it might be possible Beyonce IS right now fully in control and she is fucking it up, all by herself. Whereas Act 1 and Act 2 were better managed by others.

Wow, only $21m for the concert film and it only did $6m internationally. What a flop. of course, now AMC is backpedalling and claiming it opened above expectations. No, sweets, your PR shill was predicting $50-$60m before Taylor opened, and then downgraded it to $30m last week. Even with AMC's bargain basement predictions, the film still tanked.

She has no identifiable sound or persona. Always trying something new and failing. The Jay Z influence makes her delve too much into Rap territory. The song is unnerving and unlistenable.

I think after this she will finally transition into the "legacy act" phase as recording artist. After watching clips from her movie, she really strained herself physically to do this latest tour.

Her older fans from 25 years ago are patiently awaiting her to do a reunion with Destiny's Child; they have money to spend on tickets. That will be a guaranteed success if they tour, especially if they create another album. She would be a fool to not do a reunion project.

r82 I think it has to do with her thinking they are still too young to tour their hits like TLC, SWV, Xscape etc. All of which continue to tour and make good money worldwide (as Kandi says). But at some point Beyonce will have to face the music.

Fans from back in the day will eventually turn on her for not reuniting with Destiny's Child. Beyonce has gone out of her way to do everything else for her fans. She eventually will have to answer for not doing a reunion album or tour when they are all alive and supportive of her.
