R572 (part 1/2) I'm just looking at the other people he's invited into his private account, and what some have been posting lately. I'm remembering what Rob was posting before he deactivated his public account and what he recently started following otherwise. And I'm thinking there's nothing but rampant Islamophobia and rah rah Israel is incapable of doing anything wrong cheering going on in there. Again, it's a private account, I do NOT have proof, but my spidey senses are screaming danger right now.
If anyone's a believer that all Gazans are part of Hamas, this post isn't for you (or actually, maybe that's exactly who it's for..), but do please seek help. Hamas is rightfully so considered a terrorist organization because it regularly commit acts of terrorism. First and mostly against fellow Gazans, and secondly and with much less success against Israelis. Anyone who wants to justify their actions as resistance, first re-read the first half of that sentence, second look up who propped up and installed them as the next leadership of Gaza and WHY, and then decide that for yourself, that's up to you. But their actions 100% fall under the legal definition of terrorism. AND. The actions of active IDF members, retired IDF members now known as regular Israeli civilians, and *especially* the settlers in the West Bank, 100% fall under the legal definition of terrorism against Palestinians. But it's only normalized as unquestionably OK for one of those sides. I personally condemn terrorism On. Both. Sides. I do not only condemn muslim based jihadism. Both sides. I condemn the Israeli government. I condemn the IDF. I condemn the settlers, whose religion teaches them they are supreme above all others and entitled to all the land of Greater Israel (that's Iraq to Turkey to Egypt to Saudi Arabia, they want all of it as what God promised them. And they're what the Israeli govt fully supports.) And I condemn Hamas. Because they are all legally terrorists and therefore exactly the same. Well no, there is one difference.. One side is predominantly white.
If anyone is saying, how could you be on a site for gay men and not condemn all muslims? They throw gay men off buildings just for being gay! Yes, that is 100% true, some muslim men absolutely do that. But is it all muslims? And more importantly, is it only muslims? Cause I've read Leviticus, the original source in the bible that taught people to hate all LGBTQ people as morally repugnant. But wait, Leviticus is in the old testament. Meaning homophobia began in the teachings of the jewish religion. Should we hate all jews because they all hate LGBTQ folks? And what about places like Uganda, that recently passed a law that criminalized gay sex with the literal death penalty? Is Uganda muslim? No, Uganda is overwhelmingly christian, and they passed that law because christian evangelical fundamentalists known as The Family, through their fundraising from BOTH democrats (including Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi!) and republicans at The National Prayer Breakfast, lobbied the Ugandan govt HARD to make it the law. Should we hate all christians because they all hate LGBTQ folks? And should we hate all Americans because they all voted in that BIPARTISAN, nearly 100% govt leadership supported homophobic endeavor? Or maybe, just maybe, it's FUNDAMENTALIST EXTREMISM, be it of a religious and/or political flavor, that any good person should condemn and speak against at all times. Because fundamentalist extremism always has one goal in mind. Political Supremacy. Be it white supremacy, christian supremacy, jewish supremacy, muslim supremacy, pick a color and/or religion, I condemn all supremacist views and people.
