He shockingly said, "No, I have never seen Dick Sweeney, have you?" My cousin thought I was asking if he saw his actual weenie. Lol

Call me racist, but blacks are the worst at this.
I attended Creflo Dollar’s church a few times. In Protestant Evangelical churches, they have Baby Dedication where the pastor anoints the baby’s head with a dab of oil and dedicates its life to God.
Some of the names these people named their children were criminal. Seriously, one couple named their baby “Money.”
I worked with a black woman named Discretion.
I understand that religious people want to follow the Jewish custom of naming a child to prophecy their destiny (the name is what they become) but God have mercy please use some common sense now that we’re in the modern age.

Not anymore. White evangelicals / MAGAs are even worse with baby boys than they are with baby girls now. "Riott", "Colsom"... And we joke about "Traylor" here on DL, but google "boys names traylor". They really are naming innocent children TRAYLOR.

[quote] Lemonjello and his twin Orangejello
In the late 1980s, I lived in Nashville. I did some volunteer work for United Way. They were gathering toys for children at Christmas. My job was data entry of children’s names and addresses into the database. I don’t know if it was a joke or real, but those two names were on the list. I typed them into the database myself and Lemonjello and Orangejello each got a toy from United Way.

R10, there are some pretty idiotic names of white people out there.
I'd say it's pretty idiotic to give what used to be nicknames as full given names, and that's what a great many white people are doing:
Jenny instead of Jennifer
Jack, Johnny, or Jake instead of John
Zach instead of Zachary
Will rather than William
Ali rather than Alexandra

[quote]Another reason for the common name departure is that some Blacks are tired of the common, often repeated, names like Allison or David. They long for more unique names for their children.
[quote]Blacks will sometimes create a name for their children using a combination of names like football player Knowshon Moreno. Knowshon’s first name is reportedly a combination of Knowledge, which is his father’s nickname, and Varashon, his mother’s name.
[quote]Jermaine Jackson named one of his children Jermajesty, which appears to be a combination of Jermaine and majesty. Other blacks choose a name which is memorable or unique in its spelling like Uneek (unique) or a different pronunciation of a common name like Anfernee Hardaway (basketball player), which is assumed to be a variation of Anthony.
[quote]A study suggested its data supported the assertion that those children receiving “black” names have a worse life outcome than those receiving more traditional names.
[quote]Blacks are not the only segment of society which has opted to rebel against popular names. Just think about celebrities like Tom Cruise (daughter Suri), Nicolas Cage (son Kal-El), Gwen Stefani (son Zuma) and rock music legend Frank Zappa (3 children: Dweezil, Moon Unit and Diva Thin Muffin). They chose uncommon names for their children.

I cringe every time I watch the introductions on 'The People's Court' and there are black litigants. I don't know how the announcer pronounces their names (he must practice all week) or how the graphics person can spell their names for the screen.
Then Judge Marilyn butchers the pronunciation and asks (daringly), "Is that how you say it ?" Most of those litigants shrug in response.

Blacks are always claiming that they're at a disadvantage in life due to "systemic racism". So then they give their children the stupidest possible names to make absolutely certain they're set up for a life of failure.

There was a book years ago -- was it Freakonomics? -- that alleged that, even with identical resumes (faked for a study), people with "black" names like Ja'Quavion L'Quandrious Jackson were less likely to get a job than people with allegedly "white" names like John Smith. This was allegedly evidence of racism. But they conveniently never studied white names that are associated with stupidity, like Jaydynn Jaxxynn, or Maddisynne Neveah.
Who would put Ja'Quavion OR Maddisynne at the top of the resume list? Maybe J and M are really brilliant, but since they both were named and presumably raised by total idiots, it's unlikely.
