From my observations (having traveled with a collegiate team for 2 years ) is kinda meaning barely more than 51% are gay . There are some who cling to a hetero identity but if u listen to them/interact with them long enough they are glass closet cases.

The majority of the American ones are straight, Christian, family men. Gymnastics is a pretty conservative sport in the States. Sam Mikulak's from the west coast though, and as far as I can tell isn't all that religious. Danell Leyva's openly liberal, but has a girlfriend. Paul Ruggeri's the most prominent out American gymnast I know.
The British gymnasts are fun. Nile Wilson, Jay Thompson, and Brinn Bevan are cuties. Max Whitlock is hot, but kind of boring... he has a wife and kids. The gymnastics vibe is so different over there. Here in America there's a certain upper middle class air about the sport, but that doesn't really seem to be the case in the UK.
Props to whoever brought up Rhys McClenaghan! He's fucking adorable. Irish as well. Exceptional on the pommel horse. Hoping he makes it to Tokyo 2020!
