Anyone else remember gayling Derek on Full House?

They always had him singing, dancing and prancing around. Here he is with his hag performing a duet. As a fellow gayling in the 90s, I remember thinking they were both EXTREMELY talented.

The way that he was treated with homophobic micro aggressions made me stifle my theatre kid extroversion. It was not a flattering portrayal.

No. Even as a child, I found this show too annoying to watch.

I forgot how much he looked like an off-brand Macauley Culkin

I remember that awful little homosexual.

Too bad he's going to hell!

It's both sad and hilarious, but Derek (and the "Men on ..." sketches from In Living Color) was the first time I felt seen on TV.

R8 Looks like he murdered someone at a Pride march.

He stabbed a unicorn.

I think he was in The Little Rascals movie, too. Playing the same musical sissy role.

I didn't watch Full House so I don't know him from that, but I remember him on an episode of The Nanny where he played the son or grandson of some investor Maxwell was trying to impress, and he wanted to be in show business. He'd come out singing, dancing and mincing to Put on a Happy Face. After that, you just knew the only thing in his future was bullying and chemsex.

He seems quite happy now, doing what he loves!

Oh my sweet Lord Jaheeeesus! That child's poonanny is exposed for God and all to see! I feel so bad for his mama n'em.

If I remember the punchline right, R20, Miss Babcock (undoubtedly no stranger to cloying gays) barked at him to get the hell out.

R25 and that is why even the worst episode of The Nanny is better than the best episode of Full House.

I found the clip! The context was that he was a distant relative of Fran's with a stage grandfather, of all things. And then under the credits, C.C.'s comeuppance was having to watch the full routine.
