A total whitewash full of revisionist history. The story the way Angelyne herself wants it to be told. For a more accurate picture, read The Hollywood Reporter's story about her whole background and their interview with the guy that was making a documentary about her. The real story would've made a much more compelling show, though much less flattering to her.

Her relationships with those funded her billboard and push to make her a star will be glossed over. I grew up in LA. The 80's were prime time for me. I was in Hollywood almost everyday. Angelyne was always around. Locals said, " oh look, there's Angelyne" and moved on. It was lame flyover losers who couldn't get past her. Those are the dumb cunts who will be watching this.

Neither of the 2 THR articles I linked discuss any man in Angelyne's life other than her 1st husband before her transformation. Yes she even lied to him about specifics of her background and her mom's tragic death from cancer during their very short marriage.
Truth is that Angelyne used men to pay for her plastic surgery and billboard campaign. Evidence is her still outrageous demands for huge sums of money for the slightest favors. Rumors of the background of some of her patrons have always been a bit unsavory. Perhaps that's why she's so close lipped about it.
So the entire truth about Angelyne will never be fully told although it would be much more interesting.

R49 As much as I don't care for Kim Kardashian and her whole family (I'd be perfectly fine with never seeing or hearing about them ever again) at least she seems to be a pleasant person and is nice to people that she works and interacts with. Angelyne seems unpleasant unless someone is buying something from her and often, she can be rude then. Lots of stories of her being rude. And she is painful to watch being interviewed. There is no 'there' there.
