We Ani and Zachariah Smith were consistently the best singers and performers this season. They were both eliminated when the top five became the top three.
In the past five years, four out of five winners were good-looking guys who sang country music and played a guitar.
So I'm not surprised this guy is in the top three. He was the worst singer in the top five, the top ten and the top twelve. He mumbles and muddies his Mississippi English and I sometimes don't understand what he is saying.
Once again disappointed in the show. You know he is going to win.

Every season before Lionel, Katy and Luke were the judges, those judges give constructive advise on how to be better. They were critical of contestants who made many mistakes in their performances. They gave the viewing audience parameters to consider before voting. The usually, the winner was the right singer, except in the case of Adam Lambert. At least he finished second.
There current judges are effusive about the singers. It's all good news! They wowed the judges at every single turn! There's no guidance on who needs to step up their game.
So, we have teenage girls do most of the voting, and they vote for who they like, not for the best singer.
