What is a darkness retreat? Per NBC Sports:
Rodgers spent his retreat in a 300-square-foot room that has no natural light and is designed to be silent. He had a bed, a meditation mat, and a bathroom, and food was brought to him.
So he sat in the dark, and he couldn’t even finish that. He had planned four days and four nights in a dark cell, but arrived Monday and left on Wednesday. Apparently, Rodgers claimed that sitting in the dark in complete solitude for a few days would help him “in his process of deciding whether to return to the Packers, seek a trade elsewhere or retire.”
He probably paid thousands of dollars to stay in that dark room when I would have let him stay in my basement for nothing and I would have told him to go to the Jets because they’re playoff ready except for their quarterback and man, it’d be fun to watch him lose in New York.

If Rodgers is traded to the Jets, I’ll be more intrigued by an off-the-field event more than a game- the post game press conference and the initial coverage when he arrives in N Y.
East coast sports reporters don’t have to take shit off any superstar athlete.
Rodgers is is used to Green Bay media sports reporters who have to kow-tow to whatever the players and management want to dish out, even if they know the real scoop and can’t report it out loud whether verbally or in cyber-print.
Of course, Rodgers is arrogant enough to think he can match whatever the New York media can dish out.

Not trying to defend Aaron in any way possible, but it's kinda funny to see how the Packers are now complaining and bitching about Aaron's batshit crazy antics, when they are largely to blame for Rodgers' meltdowns. Instead of trying to counseling him or get him some much needed help, they preferred to promote his ridiculous charade of fake relationships since 2014, cause they were so terrified of the gay rumors, the tweets from Kevin etc.
Now it has tremendously backfired on them (in season performances specifically), cause once he started with his beardings, Packers have won 0 Super Bowls.
