Tom Hardy was a fairly successful male model before going into acting. I don't think he's gay, but I do think he's been with other guys. Bi maybe, or just fluid. He's super sexy, IMO, but definitely hotter now than as 20-something.

Starting as a model isn't that uncommon for aspiring actors. It teaches them presence and poise and being camera-ready. They learn to walk and to wear elegant clothes. You also make connections.
He was probably modeling (at 20) to pay his own way and for acting lessons.

Those recent Venom films were mind numbing. Seems smart, though, to go into acting if you’re self aware about being an outgoing nutjob like he clearly is. I have a feeling his parents are well off and probably helped him pay for drama school. I can’t get over how thin and waifish he looks in that video. Maybe he was on crack to stay thin for modeling?
